About Rebecca
Rebecca has worked professionally as a voice coach, playwright, and actor for more than fifteen years. She holds a BA in Drama from Duke University, an MA from Northwestern University (Theatre, Voice Concentration) and an Advanced Certificate in Voice Studies from London’s renowned Central School of Speech and Drama.
Rebecca’s work has been seen at venues across the country, including Source Festival, The Inkwell, Creede Repertory Theatre, Burning Coal Theatre, Deep Dish Theatre, the Kennedy Center (Page-to-Stage Festival), and Chicago Dramatists. She has taught classes and workshops at Northwestern University, Central School of Speech and Drama, Act One Studios, and North Carolina State University. As a voice and presentation coach, she has worked with executives, performers, and many other professionals. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc. and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association. From her earliest days, Rebecca has been a logophile, a word enthusiast; she is fascinated by the unique human ability to communicate inner thoughts to the external world via the magic of language. Her love of talking is surpassed only by her love of listening.
Rebecca lives in beautiful Durham, North Carolina with her husband and son.
